GA Senate approves bill to give cash to low-income pregnant women

Posted on

“The Georgia Senate gave final approval Tuesday to a measure that could provide cash to extremely low-income pregnant women in the state, sending the measure to Gov. Brian Kemp for his signature. Senators voted 50-1 to pass House Bill 129, which was sought by the Republican governor.
