Federal Government to Seize More Control Over New York City Public Housing

Posted on

“The federal government moved to seize more control over the New York City Housing Authority on Thursday, reaching a tentative billion-dollar settlement to correct years of maintenance failures, mismanagement and cover-ups that prosecutors said had exposed hundreds of thousands of residents to lead paint and other health hazards.
