February 2 Forum – Saving the Liberal Arts: Bridging the Divide between Education and Employment

Posted on

With rising tuition costs and an uneven job market leaving many recent college graduates underemployed and in debt, liberal arts degrees have come under scrutiny for their economic value. The American Enterprise Institute will host a discussion of new research on employers’ attitudes toward the liberal arts and how to build connections between education and employment. Speakers include Cheryl Hyman, chancellor of City Colleges of Chicago; Carol Quillen, president of Davidson College; and Monty Sullivan, executive vice president of Louisiana Community & Technical College System. The event will be held from 9:15-11:15 a.m. EST at AEI in Washington, D.C. Click here to register.
