February 13 Forum – School Finance and Opportunity: The Law and the Road Ahead
In 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that there was no “fundamental right” to education, upholding Texas’s school finance system but leading to many legal challenges in other states. The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) will hold a forum on school finance and how states and districts can ensure a high-quality education for students at all income levels. Speakers include David Hinojosa, national director of policy at the Intercultural Development Research Association; Jim Kelly, director of international affairs for the Federalist Society; and Kimberly Robinson, professor at the University of Richmond School of Law. The event will be held at AEI in Washington, D.C., from 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. EST. Click here to register.
