April 7 Forum – How States Are Leading the Charge on Criminal Justice and Second Chance Policies
In the last few years, states have implemented significant criminal justice reforms designed to remove barriers to re-entry and allow people with criminal records better access to housing and employment. The Center for American Progress (CAP) will host a forum to discuss these measures and the future of criminal justice reform. Speakers include Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy (D); Judy Conti, federal advocacy coordinator at the National Employment Law Project; Daryl Atkinson, fellow at the U.S. Department of Justice; and Marc Levin, policy director at Right on Crime. The event will be held at CAP in Washington, D.C., from 12-1:30 EDT. Click here to register.
