April 5 — Annual Research and Policy Symposium: Skills for a Changing World

In response to rapid technological and economic changes, education systems across the country are re-thinking how to best prepare people to find and keep jobs. The Brookings Institution will hold a policy symposium and release a new report on the current movement to recognize a wide range of skills in students and workers. Speakers include Brookings fellows Rebecca Winthrop, Esther Care, and Kate Anderson; Alina von Davier, vice president at ACT, Inc.; and Sean Slade, senior director of global outreach at the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
