April 13 Forum – The Four Most Interesting Tax Ideas from the Campaign Trail
Presidential candidates in both parties have made tax policy a central issue in the 2016 race, and their proposals would affect low- and middle-income Americans in very different ways. Experts from the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center will discuss the politics and policy behind the candidates’ proposals. Speakers include Len Burman, director of the Tax Policy Center; Joe Rosenberg and Elaine Maag, senior research associates at the Tax Policy Center; and Adele Morris, senior fellow and policy director of the Brookings Climate and Energy Economics Project. The event will be held at the Urban Institute in Washington, D.C., from 12-1:30 p.m. EDT. Click here to register.
