April 29 Forum – The Fight for $15: A Book Event with David Rolf
In November 2012, some 200 New York City fast food workers walked off their jobs to demand a $15 per hour minimum wage. Today, the Fight for $15 is a nationwide movement that has pushed lawmakers around the country to raise state and local minimum wages. The Center for American Progress (CAP) will host a discussion with David Rolf, president of Service Employees International Union and author of The Fight for $15: The Right Wage for a Working America.
