Posted on

The National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) was created to foster tribal rights. As a grantee of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, NCAI’s work fits squarely into the foundation’s efforts to “promote racial healing while addressing structural racism.”

Jacqueline Pata, executive director of NCAI, discussed this initiative with Spotlight’s Jodie Levin-Epstein. They explored the framework for tackling racial justice, as well as strategies for addressing child poverty and racial injustice among American Indians.
